Refunds & Cancellations

This Refunds & Cancellations Policy forms part of (and is incorporated into) the Terms of Service. Capitalised terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

Important Notice

References to "Pro," "Pro Max," "Enterprise," or similar titles in our marketing materials are product tier names for our autonomous AI software. Tradetir is a software platform, not a financial advisory service. All outputs are generated by AI software and do not constitute investment recommendations.

Scope & Law

  • This policy covers subscription fees for paid plans (currently Basic and Pro).
  • Where mandatory consumer law applies (e.g., UK/EU), those rights prevail. Where this policy is more generous than applicable law, this policy applies in addition.
  • Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights.

Cancellation vs Refund

  • Cancellation may be made at any time in-app. Cancellation stops future billing at the end of the then-current billing cycle; access continues until that time.
  • No refunds are provided after the applicable refund/withdrawal window expires or once a new billing cycle begins, unless required by law or granted as a discretionary goodwill refund. "Forgot to cancel," "unused time," or non-use of features do not entitle a refund after those points.
  • Where a refund is due, it is returned to the original payment method in the billing currency.

UK & EU Withdrawal

  • Statutory right. Consumers may withdraw from a distance service contract within 14 days from contract conclusion.
  • Early performance. If service begins during that 14-day period at the consumer's request, the right to withdraw remains; a proportionate amount for service supplied up to the withdrawal date may be payable.
  • Days 1–7 (enhanced refund). If withdrawal occurs within the first 7 days, a full refund of the base plan fee is provided regardless of usage.
  • Days 8–14 (proportional deduction). If withdrawal occurs from day 8 through day 14, a proportionate deduction may be applied to reflect the value of service supplied up to the withdrawal date.
  • Interface. An in-app "Cancel / Withdraw" control is provided on the same interface used to sign up. An acknowledgement is provided on a durable medium.

United States

  • Cooling-off. No general federal cooling-off right applies to online subscriptions.
  • Policy. A 7-day money-back guarantee (MBG) is provided for first-time subscriptions. After day 7, refunds are not provided unless required by law or granted as a discretionary goodwill refund.
  • Auto-renewal compliance. Clear disclosures and an easy online cancellation mechanism are provided in accordance with applicable state automatic-renewal laws.

Rest of World

A 7-day MBG applies unless non-waivable local law grants additional rights; where mandatory local law grants more, those rights apply.

Proportionate Deduction

  • Standard. Where permitted by law (e.g., UK/EU withdrawals from day 8 through day 14), the value of service supplied is calculated proportionately based on the contract price.
  • Method. The deduction reflects actual consumption and may be measured by: time-based use (days of access ÷ days in the cycle), or usage-based metrics (e.g., interactions, tokens, minutes used ÷ plan allowances).
  • Transparency. Upon request, the calculation used will be disclosed based on plan allowances and usage records.
  • No deduction. No deduction applies if service did not begin during the statutory withdrawal period or if required pre-contract information was not provided.

Money-Back Guarantee

  • Eligibility. Applies to the first paid subscription to any plan, once per account.
  • Window. Request within 7 days of initial purchase.
  • Amount. 100% of the base plan fee for the first billing cycle.
  • Breach bar. Not available where the account has violated the Terms of Service.
  • Statutory rights unaffected. The once-per-account limit applies to this voluntary MBG and does not limit non-waivable UK/EU statutory withdrawal rights.

Digital Content

  • Where a feature qualifies as digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, and immediate supply is expressly requested with acknowledgement of the consequence, the statutory withdrawal right for that element may not apply.
  • The Service is treated primarily as a service. Any digital-content exceptions are applied strictly in accordance with applicable law.

No Refunds After Window

  • Outside the window. No refunds are provided after the applicable refund/withdrawal window expires (7 days for US/Rest of World; 14 days for UK/EU), unless required by law or granted as a discretionary goodwill refund.
  • New billing cycle. No refunds are provided for charges incurred once a new billing cycle begins, including where cancellation did not occur before renewal.
  • Partial periods. No refunds for unused time in a billing period after cancellation; access continues until period end.

What Is Refundable

  • Refundable: the base plan fee for the applicable billing cycle, subject to the time windows and rules in this policy.
  • Not refundable: add-ons, token packs, overages, and similar usage-based top-ups where the user has requested immediate supply. Once tokens or credits are credited to an account, the statutory withdrawal right is lost.
  • Unused token packs. Where a user purchases a token pack and has not yet used any tokens, and has not provided the acknowledgement requesting immediate supply, the UK/EU 14-day withdrawal right applies.
  • UK/EU statutory withdrawals. Where a statutory withdrawal applies, the amount reimbursed and any deduction are calculated strictly in accordance with applicable law.

How to Cancel

  • Use the in-app "Cancel / Withdraw" control (Account → Billing).
  • Where required, submit a withdrawal statement via that interface or email legal@tradetir.ai from the account email stating: "I withdraw from my contract," with the date and account identifier.
  • An acknowledgement is provided on a durable medium.

Breach & Chargebacks

  • No refunds for breach. No refunds are provided where access is suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms of Service.
  • Chargebacks/fraud. Accounts may be suspended or terminated for non-payment, chargebacks, suspected fraud, or abuse, with no refund.

Processing Times

  • Refunds (where due) are issued in the billing currency to the original payment method.
  • Processing times vary by payment-processor policies; refunds are made without undue delay, and for UK/EU withdrawals no later than 14 days from notice.

Changes & Rights

  • This policy may be updated in accordance with the Terms of Service (Changes to Terms; notices).
  • Nothing in this policy reduces non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
